Article 2 – Agreement to Terms of Use

This document constitutes a legally binding agreement outlining the terms and conditions for users' access to and use of the i platform. Therefore, by using the services of i on any of its websites, applications, or platforms, the user acknowledges and agrees to all terms set forth in this agreement, including any future amendments, and is legally bound to comply with them. The user also agrees that services will be provided in accordance with these terms.

The user must read this agreement carefully before using the platform. If the user disagrees with any part of these terms, they must refrain from using i's services.

Article 3 – Nature of Services

  • i acts solely as a facilitator for connecting users with psychotherapists and does not intervene in the content or process of therapy sessions.
  • Therapists on the i platform are qualified professionals whose academic background, expertise, and licenses have been reviewed and verified by i.
  • Services provided through i are not a substitute for psychiatric emergencies, urgent care, or in-person therapy.

Article 4 – Responsibilities of the Parties

  • Users are obligated to register accurate and complete information on the i platform. Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension or termination.
  • Users confirm that they will use only one account and that the email and phone number provided are registered in their name. Otherwise, i bears no responsibility and reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring internet connectivity, audio-visual equipment functionality, and a safe, private environment for therapy sessions. Any disruptions due to technical issues or distractions fall under the user's responsibility.
  • Sessions are held on secure online meeting platforms integrated with i. Users must attend sessions in a quiet, private, and secure location. Participation from noisy or distracting environments is not permitted.
  • The standard duration of therapy sessions may vary depending on the therapist's approach. Users must address any dissatisfaction with session length directly with their therapist and may change therapists if resolution is not achieved.
  • Users must be punctual and attend sessions at the scheduled time. Missed or delayed attendance is not compensated.
  • If a therapist starts a session late, they are responsible for compensating the lost time.
  • Therapists may approve or reject session requests and may determine that their services are not suitable or authorized for the user's needs and thus may decline to provide services, provided no session has already been scheduled.
  • Any personal, commercial, or non-professional relationship between the user and therapist outside the framework of professional psychotherapy and the i platform's rules is strictly prohibited. i assumes no responsibility for disputes or damages arising from such interactions.

Article 5 – Service Limitations

  • Users confirm that they are not in a crisis or emergency situation or experiencing suicidal or homicidal ideation while using the i platform.
  • i does not provide emergency or crisis support. Users must immediately contact emergency services or medical professionals in their country if such needs arise.
  • Services offered through i are not currently covered by any insurance providers globally.

Article 6 – Privacy and Security

  • i commits to treating all user data as confidential and will only disclose such information if legally obligated or when a therapist has a professional duty to report imminent risk of harm to the user or others.
  • Recording or storing session content is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by the user, therapist, and i platform.
  • i reserves the right to use non-personal user data—that is, data that does not reveal user identity—for various purposes, including but not limited to statistical analysis or policymaking.

Article 7 – Limitation of Liability

  • Users acknowledge and agree that no specific outcomes are guaranteed from the use of mental health services provided through the i platform.
  • Although therapists' credentials have been verified by i, i is not responsible for the quality of services, session content, or therapeutic recommendations made by therapists.
  • Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials. All activity conducted under their account is their sole responsibility. Users must promptly report any issues to support, and any delays in reporting are their responsibility.

Article 8 – Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, logos, and intellectual property associated with the i platform are the sole property of i. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

Article 9 – Communications and Support

  • i reserves the right to communicate with users via the mobile number and email address provided at registration. Users agree to review and respond to such communications as necessary. Confirmation of these details at registration constitutes proof of ownership and accessibility.
  • This communication method suffices for all official correspondence between i and the user. Failure to read or respond, or changing contact information without prior written notice to i, does not impose liability on i.
  • i's social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, X) are for public information only and not for therapeutic or emergency inquiries.
  • None of the content provided on i's website or social media constitutes treatment, diagnosis, or endorsement of any medication or therapeutic method. All content is informational only and should be used at the user's own risk. i does not guarantee accuracy or timeliness of such content.

Article 10 – Payments and Cancellations

  • All therapy session payments must be made in advance through i's approved payment methods. Direct payments to therapists are strictly prohibited.
  • Users may cancel up to four sessions per year, provided cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance. In such cases, the full session fee is refunded or a replacement session may be booked. Cancellations made within 48 hours or exceeding the four-session annual limit are non-refundable.

Article 11 – Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between the user and i, efforts will first be made to resolve the matter through support. If unresolved, the issue may be referred to mutually agreed arbitration or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

These terms constitute the final agreement between the user and the i platform.

By using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
